Marketing is my name, copywriting is my game. Ok, well, my name is Dana Thompson and I have 15+ years experience in marketing, content writing, and design. My friends joke that my unofficial title is actually Web Goddess. I help my clients find their voice, create content that gets results, and coordinate their branding across all platforms.

Where did my passion for writing begin, you ask? In the third grade, I wrote and illustrated a book entitled, It’s Hard to Be a Good Egg.  My teacher helped me cover and bind the book and it was placed in my elementary school library with its very own library card in the back. Every day I would go into the library and see who had checked out my book. Several of my classmates had read it. That same year a poem I had penned about my pony was published in the local newspaper and I was convinced I would be the next Judy Blume. A love of the written word has consumed me ever since.

Fast forward to college, where I was determined to be a double English/History major and became best friends with my freshman English teacher. Who still remembers me, by the way, 25 years later. I tutored most of my classmates that year. On the eve of my sophomore year, my advisor asked me the question that would change the course of my life. “Do you want to teach?” she asked and my answer was no. “Then pick another major.”

I had always been fascinated with advertising, so I chose marketing as the next best creative job for me. My path was set! For the past 10 years I have worked full time as a web designer, branding, social media, and content marketing specialist and enjoy helping businesses create content that drives their success. I look forward to working with you to help you reach your business goals.

A former Canadian girl who escaped the cold winters to reside in the sunny southern USA, I live on a small farm with my rock star husband, two horses, and five rescue dogs. I am a lifelong Anglophile, vegetarian, yoga enthusiast, and actively help raise funds for animal rescue. When not writing, I can be found on the tennis court taking lessons, doing drills, playing USTA league matches and still searching for an effective second serve.
